Demon Sketch 17

A Pestilential Knight. I read about 'em once.

Let's see here, i believe i still have the mental link to that old catacomb. ah, there it is.

In Neon Green, and Auburn Red;

Comes a Knight, dyed in Dread.

With Blackened wings and sharpened Lance;

And all Disease is to his Command.

Under darken'd cloud and midnight watch;

The Knight of Pestilence shall ne'er be caught.

Watch the skies, O ye simpletons, watch the Light

And run in Fear, as it's snuffed out by the Pestilential Night.

I'm pretty sure that the "night" at the end of the poem was purposeful, of course there's always a chance i could've translated it wrong. There are a few other works that I've found in dreams of old dilapidated temples and catacombs in the very nothingness that is the Void; but that one seems to resonate the most with the Knight's motive to, i believe, cause a "pestilence" to anything it encounters. However this is all just my own thoughts on it. I have never seen nor heard word of the Knight's current whereabouts, let alone whether it's even still alive at this point. That being said, I do still advise caution when traveling out in the Five Hells...well, Four now, since the Black Kingdom is all but been conquered by its surrounding neighbors. Eh, bah. I've gone off topic now, haven't i?
